The President, elected by the citizens of the United States, Barack Obama yesterday made the most recent of his public speeches. The President forced the CEO of a private company (GM) out of his office. Regardless of the wisdom of the President’s move, the question remains, is THIS the work of a United States President? Shouldn’t this administration have minions to handle this type of announcement? Why is President Obama the person announces his executive orders?
The President is stretched too thin policy-wise. He’s not being effective at anything except of course giving away tax money.
While I can understand that the weight of the office is needed to effect change, no one else in the administration has that kind of weight or presence. Perhaps the President should re-think his advisors and cabinet. If he can’t rely on others to deliver his message some days, he shouldn’t rely on them for anything.
